Licensed Marriage And Family Therapist MFT 105158

In 2015, I graduated from Phillips Graduate University with a masters degree in psychology for marriage & family therapy. Throughout my career as a behavioral therapist, a life skills coach and residential counselor, I constantly questioned how I could get to the root of the issue and go deeper with my clients. This curiosity to understand human interaction and help individuals thrive in their own relationships is what led me to graduate school to become a marriage and family therapist. I feel that the greatest lessons learned are through the interactions that we have with other humans on a day to day basis.

I have developed skills and expertise in working with children and families who have recently immigrated to the United States and I am well versed in working from a family systems model. I take an individualized approach when working with clients in order to meet their needs and allow for self-growth in a safe and accepting space. I am certified in numerous Evidence Based Practices, including TF-CBT (Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), MAP (Managing and Adapting Practice), and Triple P: Positive Parenting Model.
